This immediate full time opening for an entry level Marketing Assistant is the perfect opportunity for an individual who possesses a big-picture mentality and is able to assist with the expansion of marketing strategies for both PrintingHouse Press and sister company, vdiscovery. The Marketing Assistant will work under the Director of Marketing and collaborate within a dynamic team to support the company’s marketing efforts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-Research competitors by identifying and evaluating their company’s marketing and advertising efforts
-Assist in developing marketing collateral to include: presentations, info sheets, advertisements, brochures, company newsletters, etc.
-Responsible for developing content for daily posts/tweets to all applicable social media outlets. Additional duties include monitoring online competitor presences and maintaining a posting schedule
-Complete marketing administrative projects, including presentations, spreadsheets and proposals
-Keep promotional material organized by inventorying stock, preparing marketing kits and aid in the preparation of the company’s direct mailers
-Provide support for company events and exhibitions by maintaining/establishing contacts, assembling necessary materials and creating a calendar
-Assist with writing copy for business development collateral including press releases, website content, event materials, company news and announcements
-Send out regular marketing email blasts to the vast client base of PrintingHouse Press
-Responsible for keeping the PHP WordPress website up-to-date along with posting throughout the week to our Appellate Insider Blog
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising is preferred
-1+ year(s) of hands on marketing experience
-A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and learn new skills
-Strong abilities to set priorities, solve problems, and be an organized resource when under pressure
-Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop or Premiere Pro
