For over 30 years, Jim Coonan has been providing outstanding appellate services to lawyers and law firms, the last 12 of which have been during his tenure at PrintingHouse Press. At the start of his career, Jim was lucky enough to learn the appellate trade from Roland W. Johnson of The Reporter Company, a dean of the appellate printing profession for over 40 years. Jim has assisted his clients with thousands of appeals, specifically guiding them through the perils and pitfalls which abound in New York State and Federal Appellate Practice. His priority is to ensure that his clients’ filings comply with all appellate rules and regulations so that the attorneys may focus exclusively on their legal arguments. Jim also does extensive editing and preparation of client’s legal briefs in support of their appeals.

Jim, an avid golfer, has been a superior athlete for years and was a member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams at Mount Saint Mary’s College, from which he graduated in 1982 with degrees in Economics and American History. He currently resides in Connecticut with his son Samuel, where he is a member of the Executive Board of Norwalk Babe Ruth Baseball.
