Wednesday Wisdom: According to 670.3 Rules of Practice of AD2 , where an appeal is taken in a criminal matter,

the clerk of the court of original instance shall execute an initial information statement on a form approved by

the court and shall transmit it together with a copy of the notice of appeal and the order of sentence and

commitment, if any, to the clerk of this court.
