Sales Assistant:

Well established Midtown Manhattan appellate services company seeks a sales assistant to assist a six member sales team.

Qualified candidate will function as a critical hub within the department and be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities. Ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail oriented, possess a broad skill set that is equally proficient with numbers and words, and exhibit natural multitasking skills. Additionally, the position will require regular communication with the A/R department through the preparation of price estimates and purchase orders.

Ideal candidate must possess the following to be considered:

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel).
• Possesses an athlete’s sense of the word “teamwork”.
• A naturally gifted communicator.
• An organized wonder with a keen attention to detail.

Appellate Paralegal:

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Preparing and formatting appellate documents (records/appendices/briefs/motions).
  • Arranging a variety of “job types” for serving and filing.
  • Learning and familiarizing yourself with various Court rules and regulations.
  • Communicating with our Sales department on jobs in house and any client issues.
  • Building relationships with clients and adopting a flexibility for their needs.
  • Communicating with clients effectively throughout the preparation stage, as well as the finalization stage of the appellate process.
  • Providing clients with accurate information to properly format any and all documents.
  • Working closely with our Production team to balance individual workflow.
  • Drafting affidavits and various correspondence – interoffice, clients and Court personnel.

Electronic Brief Specialist:

Providing electronic document processing, retrieval and distribution support for clients within the Appellate Court system.

Well established Midtown Manhattan appellate services provider is seeking an Electronic document (E-filing) specialist for a full time position. Strong computer skills, the ability to prioritize, multitask and work independently with the highest level of confidentiality is essential. Intermediate Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro skills will be needed to effectively execute the work.

Qualified candidate will be responsible for:

  • High volume, complex, electronic filing and data entry into various State and Federal E-Filing portals.
  • Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for each case. This includes pulling dockets as well as identifying the appropriate laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles relevant to the case.
  • Work closely with sales staff and paralegals to complete the filing requests of our clients.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in getting the job done.
  • Willingness to pay utmost attention to detail.
  • Full training in the use of our customized databases, as well as State and Federal portals will be provided.
