PAUL LAMAR

Executive Vice President of Appellate Services

“If you don’t take care of your clients, someone else will.”

After Paul graduated from Hofstra University in 1984, he began his career as an Investigator at Fidelifacts where he was responsible for conducting background checks on potential employees looking to work in the financial services sector in the Wall Street community.

Most of the background checks were for employment screenings, however investigations also involved franchisee ownership, potential sweepstake winners, asset searches, liens and subpoena services, to name a few.

After reaching the top of his profession as an Investigator, Mr. LaMar decided to enter the appellate services industry as a Consultant due to the prodding of a close friend who figured he would be successful at the new challenge.  His first job in the appellate printing arena, was at Record Press where he worked as an Appellate Consultant for 4 years, from 1998-2002.  In 2002 PrintingHouse Press was looking to expand their operations and invited Mr. LaMar to join their organization which he did.  Over the 16 + years at PrintingHouse Press he has now reached the position of Executive Vice President of Appellate Services.

Mr. LaMar is a graduate of Hofstra University with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Political Science.  He also received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Nassau Community College, which was one of the reasons he chose to become an Investigator right out of college. During his time at Fidelifacts, he also successfully passed tests for the Nassau and Suffolk County Police Departments and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Mr. LaMar is proud to have assisted hundreds of clients over the years who seek guidance when they are preparing their appeal in the state and federal courts. His knowledge of the appellate courts and the various local rules has assisted numerous attorneys and law firms to successfully perfect their appeals.
